How You Can Help Fight Global Warming
May 27, 2009 by Daniel Ambrose · Leave a Comment
How you can help fight global warming has become a topic of daily discussion. It is heard on all the news channels, and read in every major newspaper around the world and yet it is a battle that we are loosing.
But we cannot lose this battle. To lose is to succumb to the destruction of our planet and the loss of every living thing upon it, and I for one am not willing to lay down and let this happen without a fight. But it is a fight that we must all take a part in and that includes you.
There are many weapons at your disposal in this fight against global warming and the most important one is knowledge. In some areas global warming is still believed to be fiction and even found to be laughable. They simply are not educated enough to recognize the seriousness of their ignorance. This is why education is our number one weapon in this battle against global warming. Without education, we are lost.
You have taken the first step in the fight against global warming and accepted the most important weapon available, and that weapon is knowledge – For knowledge is power – and with this new powerful weapon we begin this fight acknowledging there is a fight and taking part.
Your first mission is to share this power with everyone that you know, and even those you do not. This is not to be a secret weapon and sharing it with all you come into contact with only strengthens our ability to fight. It took many years for the battle lines to be drawn in this way and it will be a long fight of many years to redraw those lines and everyone needs to take part in the battle.
Ways To Fight Global Warming
May 21, 2009 by Daniel Ambrose · Leave a Comment
There are many ways to fight global warming and to help the environment, rather than contributing to the ways that are harmful to our environment.
I know many will say they are unable to help, or just do not know how. Well I am happy you are reading this because you have just taken a step towards contributing to the fight of global warming.
Step #1, Acknowledging that there is a problem and taking steps to learn more about it and how to fight it.
That is the most important step, as without it, you will never take the following steps that are so important to the fight to save our planet from plummeting into an irreversable cycle of global warming and chaotic climate change.
The ways to fight global warming are not what is difficult. The difficult part is now past – you have accepted that we must fight and do our part.
Step #2, Did you realize that simply changing your house hold lights to fluorescent, or energy saving bulbs can make a huge differrence in your carbon foot print?
So realizing that simple things can make a huge difference in the fight against global warming. It does not need to be something that throws your whole life out of kilter. But on the bright side, making these simple changes can save you alot of money on your utility bills.
Step #3, Stop throwing our future in the trash.
When I first started to recycle I was worried I would not have a way to store the recycling – because our community use to only collect recycling once every month. Wow! Did I ever get a wake up call.
I soon discovered that instead of setting out two very large cans, with wheels, full of garbage each week, I was setting out one can that was no where near full, each week. So I was adding a lot less to the dumps, and I had an extra can for my recyclables – Except the newspapers that I just stacked neatly until recycling day.
Step #4, Rediscover the joy of walking to the local grocery store.
This is an important step, and I understand that it just is not possible for everyone. But the important part is to realize the need to drive your vehicle less. Think about that trip to the store. Must you go now? Perhaps you can put it off, or combine that trip with something else that you are going to need to do.
Step #5, Consider upgrading your vehicle to a more economical model, or a hybrid.
This final step I through out there in the hopes of catching you in the right frame of mind that you will seriously consider this step. I know this can be a big decision for many people, and I only throw it out there to get you to at least be thinking about it.
As always, here at info2saveearth.com, I make suggestions, and provide simple tips, because I want to do all I can to help in your effort to go green and in providing ways to fight global warming. Because I want my grandchildren, to have the same wonderful world to enjoy watching their grandchildren grow. Thank you!
To Go Green These Tips Make A Difference
May 19, 2009 by Daniel Ambrose · Leave a Comment
My first suggestion when someone asks me about going green is always to participate in recycling. It is simple to make, and see, a difference when you recycle and this is what makes it so easy to stick too.
There is an immediate feeling of satisfaction, when you notice the amount of your garbage, going to the local dumps, is significantly reduced. You cannot help but to feel good about that, and why should you not, it is great to know your helping.
I already hear people reading this and saying; but what items are recyclable, and where are they deposited? Lets not get worried. I promised this would be a simple go green tip that makes a difference, and I aim to keep my word.
If you are in a community where it is not obvious where, and what recycling is, I would call your local town hall, or police for the information. In many communities the area schools collect the recycling, and it benefits the school, and the community for them to do so. Not so hard.
Another way to go green and make a difference in your community, the world, and even your own bank account is to use solar, or wind turbine, power. Once again I can just feel the panic come over you as you read this and in your minds eye all you can see is dollar signs, and you start shouting at your computer screen that it is so expensive and out of your immediate budget.
Remember my promise. I am here to help. Firstly, you will discover some important links at the end of this article that will save you many thousands of dollars over your lifetime, and they are 100% money back guaranteed to work for you, for under $200.00. You do not need to faint. These products have been made available due to our need to slow this environmental snowball.
Take some time to read the material about these great products and you will quickly realize the numerous benefits you will gain by acquiring them.
Some benefits include:
1) Lowering, or removing your current utility bill.
2) Actually able to receive money from your utility company.
3) Sharing these products for profit from friends, and neighbors.
There are actually more benefits, not the least of which is your contribution to the world and helping us go green. So take part in making a difference and start to go green today.
If you feel I am pressuring you to purchase products you do not feel you are ready for, step back and think about them for a while, they have been in business for years, and will be there tomorrow too. I have only offered them here as a convenience to you, and my only hope is to offer you suggestions, and ideas, that will benefit you, and our world. Thanks as always, for reading another article by: info2saveearth.com.
How Environmental Changes Can Be Good
May 15, 2009 by Daniel Ambrose · Leave a Comment
I know you read that title, and thought, “this guy is cracked”, but you would be wrong. You cannot make that kind of assumption just because you have not thought how environmental changes can be good.
If we take a few minutes and keep our minds open, there just might be something of value learned from this short article, and with that said; lets get to it.
Did you know that planting trees and shrubs around your home, can not only help to cool your home, but they will absorb carbon monoxide from the air, and this is a good change for the environment. A good change.
Pretty cool, huh? Now what other “good” environmental changes can we think up? How about recycling?
That would work. Instead of throwing away all of those plastic water bottles, thinking what is the gain in saving such a small plastic bottle -I have an answer, the “gain” is this: Did you know that the petroleum used to create that one “little” plastic water bottle, would have lit a 75watt light bulb, for 24 hours? 24 hours! So a “bottle saved, is 24 hours of light earned. I could not resist.
Now who can argue against that? But lets not stop with the water bottles, how about the 2-litre bottles? Sure you need to give them a quick rinse so they wont draw bees, and ants, while in storage, but the savings to the environment are so worth it. Actually, any plastic marked recyclable, or has a triangle on the bottom with a number 1, or a 2. These are all recyclable. All of which contain petroleum.
And, what about that Sunday newspaper, that was just thrown in the trash? Totally recyclable. Now your saving trees. So you are planting trees, and shrubs, and now you are even helping to save the trees that are already growing. You add this up and you are absorbing even more carbon monoxide. Now that definately makes for some very good environmental changes.
I did promise to keep this article short, so I am going to try to tie it up here with these final remarks.
It would be prudent to call your local recycling facility and learn exactly all they can take, because everything we are recycling is “not” going to the landfill, and once again we have discovered “how environmental changes can be good.

How Does Climate Change Affect Us?
May 14, 2009 by Daniel Ambrose · Leave a Comment
Now days climate change is spoken, or written about, in pretty much every aspect of our lives. But how many people actually understand what climate change is, and how it affects us now, and will affect us, in the future?
Does anyone reading this not know the planets temperature is rising steadily?
This is commonly referred to as “Global Warming”. The planets temperature rising is just one way that will affect us and change our climate. If you follow what happens because of the planets temperature rising, thats when you really start to set up and take notice.
Suddenly someone notices there is an affect that follows the cause – The old “cause and affect” strategy. The planet warms and the ice on the planet begins to melt, but “cause and affect” does not stop there. No. The ice melts and the sea level begins to rise.
Now we know that the climate change is affecting us by:
a) Global Warming -The planet is heating up.
b) The planets ice shelves are melting, and
c) The oceans sea level is rising.
But how does these things affect us -Me and, you?
Besides the weather patterns getting very unpredictable, and in some cases extremely haphazard, there is the issue of the melting ice. This ice melting is hazardous to us in many ways -To name just a few:
There are many species of the planet that may very likely become extinct because they are losing their habitat.
Loss of any species to the planet is, or should be, a great concern to us all. Some of these species are hunted for food by people, and losing them is a loss of a food source in an area where food sources are very scarce. These same species are also hunted for their hides to keep people warm in climates that are extremely cold.
Here some may suggest the warming climate could be good for these people, so they are not so cold. This is such an outrageous thought and is why these kinds of articles are so important to better educate the people of our world. Because, again I point out “cause and affect”. Nothing changes without a cause and an affect.
Affect: Now we discuss the rise of the worlds sea level. There are many communities that are actually below the worlds sea level, and its rising can cause horrible tragedies around the world.
Is there anyone reading this article that is not aware of what happened to a “little” community called “New Orleans”? This is just a sample of the tragedies that will be in the future if we do not take action.
How does climate change affect us? At this point, I am hopeful that my article has given you some idea. Now for the important part of this article, what can “we” -I, and you, do about it?
To be perfectly honest, I do not really believe that the affects of our climate change can be stopped, or reversed at this point, But, I do believe we can still slow its affects way down, if we will all just take action.
If your still reading and asking yourself “what can I do?” Then on behalf of my grandchildren -The eldest being two, 6-11-2009 -I want to thank you.
Lets discuss what you can do to help:
1) accept that you can help even if you have a limited income. This is the first step to actually making progress, and helping. Otherwise you would just feel too overwhelmed thinking you could not possible afford to make a difference. But there are many levels of help that you can participate in, and the most important level is the level that you participate in.
2) Choose your level of participation:
a) Costs you nothing, and will actually save you money.
To put it simply, turn off those unnecessary lights. Turn off the water while you are brushing your teeth, or shampooing your hair, or soaping up. Do not waste gasoline making useless trips to the store. Try to make a list and limit your trips to the store. Saves you gasoline and money you would have spent on gasoline.
Try to carpool with someone that is already going to the store, or even to work. Simple things that cost you nothing.
Can we go a step better that still does not cost you any money? Sure. How about locating your local recycling facility. Now instead of adding to the problem, you are taking steps to alleviate it. This is not hard, and I have shown you how you can actually keep more of the money you already have.
b) Is a level that would require some expenditure, the amount of expenditure would be entirely up to you.
Replace those old energy wasting light bulbs with some new energy saving light bulbs -You do not need to do them all at once, if your budget wont allow for it. You can simply switch them out as the old bulbs burnout.
Now make certain that all of your faucets, and shower heads, all have water conserving restrictors, or heads.
Get your car tuned up, and be sure and check your tires air pressure. If within your ability, look into trading off that old gas hog, for a newer model, preferably a hybrid.
Now that you know how does climate change affect us, and how you can help “affect” climate change, I hope you will share this info2SaveEarth, with everyone you know and remember to visit info2SaveEarth.com for more tips and suggestions.
