Since the remission of the near fraudulent scientists are now in the past it is even more common to hear new home buyers discussing the benefits related to an eco-friendly home and how they can fight global warming.

One of the many benefits of a true eco-friendly home would be the lack of a common utility bill. These homes are commonly powered through solar panels and, or wind turbines and besides contributing to the fight, its pretty nice not having a light bill.

Not only do you do away with a light bill, but you can even get a check from the utility company if you sale them your excess power. Now you have lost a bill and gained an income. How nice is that?

But we are not going to stop there, are we? Lets also make certain we are using eco-friendly light bulbs and building materials. If you want to get the best bang for your buck, you are going to want to hire an eco-friendly archetect that has a strong knowledge of using eco-friendly building materials.

I know some are saying that hiring an architect can raise the project cost by as much as 15-percent, but the savings in non wasted building materials and overtures will far exceed their added expense and they will make certain that the home you build is the home you wanted.

The big thing about an eco-friendly home is the projected savings in your carbon foot print. This is what makes it all worth while and contributes to the global warming fight.

Remember that while you are discussing your home designs with your architect to also discuss things like plants and trees for in and around the new eco friendly home. For these to will contribute to lowering your homes carbon foot print and you should take advantage of their knowledge while they are there.

The biggest weapon we have in fighting global warming is knowledge. It is important to learn all you can and share that information with everybody possible. Because lack of knowledge is our worst enemy in the eco friendly fight against global warming.
